INTERREG CENTRAL EUROPE PROGRAMME
The Interreg (European Territorial Cooperation) Programme offers some excellent opportunities for financing networking and cooperation projects under the Natura 2000 Biogeographical Process... In particular, the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme has encouraged transnational cooperation since 2007 among all regions of the central European countries Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Croatia has newly joined the programme. Within this programme there are dedicated funds of EUR 80 million in a first call to transnational projects to work on innovation, low carbon solutions, environmental and cultural resources as well as transport in central and eastern European regions.
